April 2013 Haul/Favourites

Hiya,
I'm back with another haul/favorites for the month of April.(whewww this year is flying by y'll).
So i only have 6 items, all lipsticks and all from the brand Ruby Kisses (i love that brand ) btw

What Garielle Say:
These are very nice lipsticks (okkkkk). They are chear and the quality and pigment is great, for a cheaper drugstore brand. But i would also say to get more bang for your buck, exfoliate lips, apply lipliner and then the lipstick.Some like vamp red, bordeaux are matte finishes, whilst shiny purple, plum , velvet red are creamy. The formula does last long once paired with the right lipliner.
Overall this product get 4.5/5 **thumbs up**

March 2013 Haul / Favourites & Review of NICKA K Eyelight Crayon

Hiya, hope that everyone is having a blessed and productive week.
So I'm back with another haul for the month of March (the year is goin, y'll ), and for this haul I only had 4 item all from the same brand Nicka K New York.
                 Let me first start off by saying this, this product is a cheaper brand cosmetic but it is asume i'm in love with these "crayons" lol. They retail on the company's website for $2.49, which is around $4.98 in my currency which is not baddddd okayyyyy. I bought these from my beauty supply store so check yours...
I double use these..that is I use for eyeshadow base and eyeliner, because its a verstile products

First off, let me begin by saying that I absoultely LOVE this product. okayyyy lol but seriously this ish is good. Like top brand makeup products good

My first impressions of it though, I thought that it was a little oily "oil was settled on the surface upon purchase", so for my oily sisters, be careful. It has a very silky feel and blends effortlessly because of the silicone content. Works great for under the eyes, and as foundation for dry skin or combination (primer needed). Two shades come in the packaging one lighter and the other darker. My guess is one foundation, one concealor, which is a good deal all together .

Pricing - I purchased this for 14.99 at my beauty supply store, which in US $ should be about 7.49 or there about.

Product Review : Revlon Photoready EyePrimer and Brightener

Hey Chicas,
                   So its been a minute (well much longer than that), since I last posted a product review and this has been for three main reason:
1. I've been busy with work and school
2. My focus with youtube videos has been makeup tutorials and trying to revamp my do-it-yourself videos
3. I pre-record 80% of my videos, so videos posted this week, were probably recorded sometime back in December 

So unto today's review, the Revlon Photoready EyePrimer and Brightener,
What Revlon Says
" smoothes, perfects, and brightens eye area by reducing the appearance of fine lines and creases, use anytime, anywhere on face as brightening "pick me up"

What I Say
Good product for prevention of eyelid oils, thereby preventing eyeshadow creasing. . The packaging is normal, it reminds me of a jumbo eyeshadow pencil or a jumbo marker with a "wonged" up bottom. (i demonstrated this in the video).
It has a large amount of product and a little amount really goes a long, long way with this product.
As brightener it is not suitable for darker shade women of color. It is too bright pale for the under eye area , if you are a few shades lighter than me, it should definately work for you, but for women of color please stay away.
The price of this product would vary based on where you purchase it from and the territory in which you reside. On ebay it reatils for $12.99.  But I purchased it for $25 dollars in my currency which our dollar is 1.98 to US $2.00. So paying $25 for this product is not bad (maths time) 
12.99 x 1.98 =  $25.72 . I didnt state whether this product was hypoallergenic or suitable for contact lens wearers so please approach with caution.
So this has been MY product review okay, lol view the pics below.

Pink-ing Of You / Post Valentine's Day Makeup feat BH Cosmetics 1st Edition 120 eyeshadow palette

Hiya,
       Haven't done a blog post in a while now, but I'm back with another tutorial post Valentine Day, which I hope that you all enjoyed, with your love one(s). So picture this, you spend all day with that someone(s) (let's be honest now ppl do have many valentines okayyyyyy), and they have to go somewhere, to another country, city , work etc. And there you are left alone thinking about them. (sigh)
Yup all that melodrama lol........so I decided to create a makeup look (concept) around that theme, but i'll call it "Pink-ing of You" get it.... hope you do because the main colors of the look are pink :) (one of my favourite colors)
