So its been a minute (well much longer than that), since I last posted a product review and this has been for three main reason:
1. I've been busy with work and school
2. My focus with youtube videos has been makeup tutorials and trying to revamp my do-it-yourself videos
3. I pre-record 80% of my videos, so videos posted this week, were probably recorded sometime back in December
So unto today's review, the Revlon Photoready EyePrimer and Brightener,
What Revlon Says
" smoothes, perfects, and brightens eye area by reducing the appearance of fine lines and creases, use anytime, anywhere on face as brightening "pick me up"
What I Say
Good product for prevention of eyelid oils, thereby preventing eyeshadow creasing. . The packaging is normal, it reminds me of a jumbo eyeshadow pencil or a jumbo marker with a "wonged" up bottom. (i demonstrated this in the video).
It has a large amount of product and a little amount really goes a long, long way with this product.
As brightener it is not suitable for darker shade women of color. It is too bright pale for the under eye area , if you are a few shades lighter than me, it should definately work for you, but for women of color please stay away.
The price of this product would vary based on where you purchase it from and the territory in which you reside. On ebay it reatils for $12.99. But I purchased it for $25 dollars in my currency which our dollar is 1.98 to US $2.00. So paying $25 for this product is not bad (maths time)
12.99 x 1.98 = $25.72 . I didnt state whether this product was hypoallergenic or suitable for contact lens wearers so please approach with caution.
